When I started swimming as a master athlete again, I couldn’t manage 3 dolphin strokes, even though I used to swim 400m medley in competitions. After 3 months of Pilates training at Pilates-for-Athletes with Kirsten, I was able to swim 25m dolphin again without having trained dolphin in the water.
Having a mother as a Pilates instructor is sometimes quite exhausting. But when I did Pilates exercises from the Pilates-for-Athletes program regularly, I twisted my ankle less often when jogging and playing tennis. I also had less neck tension than before.
